Possible Data Breach at Portland Community College (PCC)

I'm posting today to try and warn the other students at PCC that there was and still possibly exists a security data breach at the college. The college, Visa USA, and Mastercard International were all notified of the problem and have chosen not to respond to the incident. US Senators Ron Wyden and Gordon Smith, along with Oregon Governor Ted Kulongoski were also contacted. A formal complaint was filed with the Federal Trade Commission too. You would not think that you would have to go to such lengths to get the problem fixed. The college continues to stonewall investigations, while conducting their business in secret, safe from public scrutiny. Just like hurricane Katrina victims, we object to the way we are being treated. We expect accountability, we expect them to be open with us, and we expect them to be honest with us. Before any of you use a credit card at the business office ---- ask for documented proof of compliance with the Payment Card Industry (PCI) Security Standards.

This is my first time using blogger, so please be patient while I learn how it works. I have copies of numerous documents and emails that I hope to be adding to this site to help inform the public about how the college is really conducting its business and the adverse treatment of the students.
